Premium Lamination

In a harsh, highly variable Queensland climate, it can be difficult to safeguard prints from the elements. Your favourite old posters can be protected from changing temperature, humidity, oxidisation and some UV damage by encapsulating in a premium laminate.

Premium laminate is the best choice, because it removes all air from the surface of the print, and prevents air from penetrating after. Standard laminate, such as what you might see to protect A4 printouts, contains more plastic than glue, meaning when bent or rolled, breaks in the glue can appear easily. Premium laminate uses a large quantity of glue with much less plastic, meaning that the laminate is more durable, and less likely to develop issues such as air bubbles, which compromise the protection of the print.

What size can be laminated?

Our lamination process can laminate up to a metre wide, and up to two to three metres long. This is ideal for large posters intended for reuse, but small business cards, photographic prints and other A4 and A3 prints can be laminated easily as well.

Usually, we require a week’s notice for a large-size laminate, but if your needs are immediate and urgent, we can help you out on the spot.
