Do you want the pride of framing something yourself? For the lovers of DIY and home-framers in search of the best materials possible, we source only quality stock.
DIY Framing
While having an experienced professional assess and care for the needs of your treasured photograph, artwork or heirloom is the best possible option for its longevity, we understand that framing a piece yourself can be a sentimental project, especially if you’re a hobbyist and love a challenge, or if your project is framing a piece that’s close to your heart. We’re passionate about framing, and are happy to offer advice and professional-grade materials so you can get the best out of your project.
Available Framing Materials
We can supply your framing timber in lengths. Remove the guesswork and have it cut perfectly to your size – we can help with measuring your photograph, painting or keepsake, if need be – and take it home for your personal framing projects. You can also purchase glass from us, whether that be standard framing glass or the higher quality museum or conservation glass, acid-free mat board, backing pieces, mounting supplies, and any other material that may be required for your conservation framing project.
Order In-Store, Individual or Bulk
We accept orders great and small – order any quantity from us. We can consider your requirements and the needs of your project and offer advice. Bulk pricing discounts can be offered to customers with larger quantity orders. Contact us for details.
Hanging
Hang your pictures the right way. We can offer traditional hangers, or the more modern picture hanging systems – including the hard-to-find lockable security hanger kits for valuables such as paintings and keepsakes – and other picture hanging hardware for all frame types, sizes and styles. The cord we source can hold up to 100kg of weight, meaning that even the heaviest or most ornate frames can be hung effortlessly from your walls. Cheaper cord may wear, degrade and break, so this is an important detail we never miss for our customers, and we want to share that with you.
